We specialize in digital marketing and case intake for law firms and believe that we provide the best return on investment of any legal media agency in the business. Full Stop. We’re fully transparent with how we do business and how we think we can (or can’t) help your firm. But in a nutshell, we combine an analytical approach of targeted display advertising with ad creatives that are friendly and helpful to potential clients. On average, our campaigns have yielded Cost of Acquisitions of about 50% less of what our partner firms were paying previously per qualified, retained case.

We run all our campaigns on an exclusive basis by specific mass tort or--for personal injury attorneys—by region. We never charge any upfront design or setup fees and do not use subcontractors or outsource any of our work.

We’re so confident that we can deliver the lowest cost of acquisition for whatever campaign you’re running that if we can’t beat your current case costs after 1 month, we’ll refund our fee.

 

What We Won't Do

 

We believe in being a transparent, ethical agency. To maintain our standards and continue to do right by our law firm clients and their injury victim, we have a few hard rules:

  1. We don’t buy leads or outsource our marketing (unlike some other agencies). Buying leads from shady sources results in low-quality leads that are likely being sold to multiple law firms.

  2. We don’t run the same campaign for more than one law firm. In digital marketing, it is impossible to generate mass tort cases for two law firms without increasing one or both law firm’s average Cost of Acquisition. We feel very strongly about this and believe it’s unethical that other marketing agencies do not disclose this. You can read more about why audience sharing hurts your COA here.
     
  3. We don’t use sales associates or pay commissions. Your marketing budget should go toward acquiring more cases—not someone’s commission.

  4. We don’t sell fixed price “qualified” leads. When you buy legal leads at a fixed price, the moment you send the wire your interests are no longer aligned with the company providing you those leads. Since you’ve already paid, their job is to now send you leads that are just qualified enough to complete your order. On top of that, you’re most likely not going to get the higher value cases that come in less frequently because another firm may have already put in an order of those.
     
  5. We don’t charge setup fees. We’re looking to make long-term partners, not a quick buck by charging a thousand dollars to do a “setup.” And as marketers ourselves, we can tell you most companies setup is no more than a 15 minute copy paste job of an existing campaign. A good way to see if this is true is to ask to see the landing page and ads for more than one campaign. Do you really think hernia mesh victims and women hurt by Essure respond best to the same looking landing page? (They don’t).

It all started when…

A lawyer, a nurse, a fashion designer and systems nerd (that's you, Jon) walked into a bar. Not really, but half true. Our team comes from the legal, tech, healthcare and design world. We all share the philosophy of always looking for new and better ways to reach and interact with people while honing our existing strategies. Pioneertown Media was formed to offer a better way to help legitimately injured people get in touch with good, caring lawyers.

In the last 12 months we've managed over $2.1 million in client marketing budgets in mass torts, personal injury and class actions. 

 

 
 

Services

 

Digital Marketing: All of our marketing is delivered over different online advertising platforms and is mostly made up of targeted social media and display networks. We don’t use TV or Radio because it doesn’t work as well. If you’re not convinced, we encourage you to test our approach head-to-head with a traditional marketer. If we don’t beat their results, we’ll return our fee.

Intake and Lead Conversion: After effective marketing, improving intake is the most effective thing you can do to improve the size and quality of your inventory. We developed our own in-house intake system composed of a great licensed attorney intake team and automated lead nurturing best practices that we’ve developed by multivariate testing across tens of thousands of completed intakes.  

On average we contact web contact form leads within 7 minutes from the time the potential client fills out the form. For those potential clients who we are unable to make contact with on the first attempt, we utilize a custom lead-nurturing system that sends personalized text messages, emails and voice mails. We’ve developed the content and timing of this messaging through constant A/B testing, and we continue to update the messaging depending on the campaign type and stage of the litigation.

In addition to helping our partner sign clients that have legitimate claims, we also make sure your clients are informed with some introductory knowledge of the legal process and understand the importance of being responsive to future requests. We find this helps set expectations and makes for more satisfied clients
